On August 12, 2024, the Career Development Office (CDO) celebrated its 3rd anniversary with a memorable event attended by distinguished guests, including the Vice Chancellor of City University General (R) Muhammad Aslam , who served as the chief guest, the Cheif Executive Officer Sir Yasir Khan Niazi, the Principal of IMDC Prof. Dr. Syed Irfan Yousaf, the Registrar of IMDC Col (R) Mujtaba Abbasi, the Advisor to the Chairman, and several Heads of Departments. The guests were warmly received by the CDO team upon arrival.

The event commenced with a briefing by Director CDO, Prof. Dr. Iram Iqbal, who provided an overview of the office's formation, its impact, and its growth over the past three years. This was followed by an elaborate slideshow and presentations, showcasing CDO’s significant achievements and milestones.

After the presentations, a lively discussion and debate ensued with the esteemed guests, exploring CDO’s future plans and strategies to overcome challenges faced in recent years. The conversation focused on enhancing CDO's capacity, understanding, and knowledge across multiple fields to better serve our students and community. By the end of the discussion, the CDO website was showcased, impressing everyone with its comprehensive resources, including a list of mentors and alumni available for contact.

The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony, followed by tea, marking another successful year for the CDO. The efforts and accomplishments of CDO were thoroughly appreciated by all attendees, solidifying its reputation as a trendsetter within IMDC.
