Carrying on the culture of career-oriented seminar and festivals, the Career Development Office, IMDC once again took to showcase its extraordinary capacity to organize a career festival under directives of CDO Director Prof. Dr. Iram Iqbal. This festival was somewhat more different than ordinary festivals because here each and every student got the opportunity to interrogate about their field of interest, where they were guided by Specialist Members and Career Development Internees. The event was successfully conducted on 16th June on the day of Friday. The lecture halls 2,3,4 was decorated with variety of field related stalls of MBBS, BDS, DPT and MLT; captivating ideas showcasing capabilities of its facilitators and students. This event was graced by presence of Vice-Chancellor SZABMU Prof. Dr. Tanvir Khaliq, where he was warmly welcomed with a bouquet of flowers. The event started at 10:30 am with a ribbon cutting ceremony. VC SZABMU as a chief guest along with Principal IMDC Prof. Dr. Syed Irfan Ahmed, CEO Mr. Yasir Niazi and Director CDO Prof. Dr. Iram Iqbal visited different stalls of medicine, anatomy, PLAB, USMLE, Paeds, physiotherapy, gynae, army and others. A huge presence of students was witnessed at every stall. A food stall was also part of this event for refreshment of participants. The stalls, along with the provision of field information, also indulged the students through intriguing quizzes and games as a source of transfer of information. After the VC visited all stalls , all guests and members were gathered at auditorium for the announcement of winner stall. The VC SZABMU presented shields to winner stalls (anatomy) and runner up stalls. A token of appreciation was also presented to the VC. The event was well applauded by VC SZABMU and CEO IMDC Mr. Yasir Niazi. A huge interest was shown from students where they were keen and passionate to participate in more career related activities.
