The seminar “Road to the US '' happened in full swing with participants filling the college auditorium in herds, all at once eager to learn and visualize the road for their careers ahead.

As soon as the Guest speaker, Dr. Danyal Hassan, entered the auditorium, the event commenced. Starting with the introduction of CDO and its aims and objectives. With no moment's wait, Dr. Danyal was called upon stage to present, which he did in a very studious and confident manner. His voice echoed in the auditorium as some students scribed notes while others took pictures of individual slides. Dr. Danyal took the presentation in a step wise manner guiding students on the basis of 3 categories. Category 1 were the students who were currently in 1st year MBBS, Category 2 were the students in 3-4 year MBBS and the last category contained students who were about to graduate or had graduated. For each category Dr. Danyal shared a check list, with schematic flow charts of the prerequisites required to land a residency in the US. Dr Danyal shared his personal experience and journey along sliding a joke and a couple of funny pictures from time to time to keep the energy afloat.

The presentation was quickly followed by questions ranging from present requirements of admission, to the magnitude of competition and how to live in the US. A shield presentation took place after the question answer session which was presented by the Managing direction of IMDC and Akbar Niazi Teaching Hospital, Dr. Yasir Niazi. Dr Yasir Niazi gave a 10 min speech as a closing remark.

The event successfully ended with streams of students heading back to their classes and guest and CDO team posing for a group picture before seeing off the Guests.
