ABOUT POST-GRADUATION OPPORTUNITIES
CDO gathers and disseminates information regarding national and international opportunities for students after graduation. When you fix an appointment with CDO, a career counselor will reach out to you and give you updates about your specified field.
- Keep you updated with upcoming opportunities and deadlines via official email. Spread awareness of funding opportunities, if any.
- Help you discover institutions, areas and programs of interest.
- Check on application deadlines and rolling admissions policies.
- Check with all disciplines before the deadline to make sure your file is complete.
- Help you to register and prepare for appropriate postgraduate admission tests. Review your résumés and cover letters.
- If appropriate, obtain letters of recommendation, and send thank-you notes to the people who wrote your recommendation letters, informing them of your success.
- Host textbooks rummage sales for students; The graduated students or the students who cleared their post-graduation entrance exam can donate their books to CDO office. Their books will be available with their name and passing year for the use of students. CDO will also buy books from graduated students who have passed their post-graduation exam and will sell them to current students at a nominal price.
